ROLE: Business Development Manager HOURS: 40 per Week SALARY: up to £60,000 basic salary per year BONUS/OTE: Realistic total earning potential of up to £90,000 per year BENEFITS: Company Car, Bonus BASE: Field Based Eurocell are a stock market listed Plc and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry. We are delighted to be recruiting an Business Development Manager to work for Alunet, part of the Eurocell Group of Companies. Alunet are an aluminium system solution provider to trade fabricators, and they seek a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to manage new business, nurture and grow existing customer accounts, and seek and nurture new commercial opportunities. Previous experience in the construction industry or an understanding of trade fabrication channels could be an advantage, but the main requisites are the hunger for sales and new business, and the ability to provide exceptional sales and service support to new customers in their first 12 months of trading with us. WHAT OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS DO: Build strategic commercial relationships with trade customers, creating and maximising strong customer relationships Support the growth of the business and deliver profitable sales growth for the territory Achieve sales targets through relationship selling based on a detailed understanding of the customer's business Manage of customer accounts and relationships in the first 12 months of trading, and identifying new sales opportunities Collaborate to understand customer needs, and deliver a solution to make a difference Deliver remarkable customer service Identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities from new and existing customer bases Keep up to date with local competitor activity, changes within your local market and the wider industry WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS: A full driving license is essential Previous experience within field-based business development and sales generation Previous sales experience within construction, fabrication, a trade or builders merchant, retail, glazing or PVC-u environment could be advantageous Commercial awareness, with an understanding of negotiation and profit margins Accomplished at preparing and delivering sales presentations to a diverse customer base Ability to work under own initiative to targets and deadlines and manage end to end sales cycle WHAT WE OFFER OUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS: You will be rewarded with a very competitive basic salary An excellent bonus scheme Company Car 25 days holiday, plus statutory holidays - normally 33 days in total each year Option to join the Eurocell Share Save Scheme at discounted rates, and share in our company success Company Pension Plan Employee discount on Eurocell products Discounts across many well-known online and high street retailers A blend of training, including e-learning and on the job training to help your career development Care First Employee Assistance Programme, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for confidential support and advice, if and when you need it Colleague Referral Programme; we pay you for successfully referring people to join our team Excellent opportunities to grow with us, and progress your career
