Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services ?? Location: East Midlands?? Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday?? Type: Freelance / Temporary / Contract?? Rate: Circa £45/hour (negotiable)??? Start: Flexible Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a building services consultancy delivering a wide range of projects - from Arts and Heritage to commercial, education, energy, healthcare, industrial, science and tech, sports and leisure, retail, and residential. What you'll be doing: Full HVAC design - from estimation stage through to Stage 5 Collaborate with estimators to develop concepts into detailed designs Attend client, pre-construction, and design meetings Issue designs to clients and construction teams Engage with a wide range of sectors What we're looking for: Strong experience in mechanical building services design (HVAC, plumbing, drainage) Client-facing and confident in meetings CAD/Revit experience Comfortable working in-office (1 day WFH possible) No formal qualifications required - experience in the market is all they are looking for Why join?
