Job Description
Sales Administrator Location: Wimbledon Reporting to the Head of Internal Sales, the Sales Administrator provides essential support to the Sales team, ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations. The Sales Administrator is responsible for managing sales-related documentation, processing orders, maintaining customer records, and co-ordinating communication between sales representatives, clients, and internal departments. The Sales Administrator plays a key role in facilitating the sales process, improving customer satisfaction, and helping the team meet revenue goals through effective administrative and organisational support. Key responsibilities include: Accurately process call-off orders from a range of customers, verifying product codes, pricing, and delivery schedules. Liaise with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to track and expedite deliveries, resolving any issues or delays proactively. Communicate with customers regarding delivery delays or issues, providing timely updates and resolutions. Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of product samples, ensuring correct handling and documentation. Enter and manage orders within the company’s ERP system, adhering to established timelines and procedures. Complete non-conformance reports thoroughly and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken to resolution. What we're looking for: Essential: Proven experience as a Sales Administrator, Sales Support Assistant, or similar administrative role Familiarity with CRM systems Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Excellent organisational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience managing sales documentation and processing orders Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies Desirable: Experience in a customer-facing or B2B sales environment Knowledge of invoicing, logistics, or inventory management Understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting Ability to work autonomously and drive forward projects with limited supervision Previous experience working in a Manufacturing business Competencies Required: Must be diplomatic, professional and able to handle confidential information Friendly, outgoing, professional and polite Collaborative, team player, ability to form good relationships with colleages (internally and externally) Why join us?
