Habilidades: Role The primary purpose of this role is to act as a subject matter expert in the Data Management team to implement the data management initiatives and follow best practices by enhancing the processes and procedures following industry's best practices. You will be an expert in specific areas of data management who helps bridge the gap between technical implementation and business objectives, fostering a collaborative and well-aligned approach towards maintaining data quality, compliance, and usability. You will have a solid understanding of data management principles, and the ability to identify adherence, gaps, effectiveness, and controls for best practice data management. Key areas of impact will be in documenting data quality standards, data governance process enhancements, metadata management best practices, data lineage security and access controls to achieve the clients organizational goals. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain metadata processing solutions using Data Management tool, to support the client’s data management policies and standards Catalogue appropriate client assets (and their associated metadata) within the relevant Communities & Domains, in the client's Data Management tool Configure Data Management search capabilities e.g. Data Marketplace to enable users to search for, find and request access to assets catalogued in Collibra by using Python code Develop and manage a Data Governance framework in the tool to enable role-based permissions for appropriate individuals/users, so that they can carry out their Collibra-related responsibilities and tasks Promote usage and adoption of the Data Management tool by producing capability user guides, reusable training content and leading training sessions with a variety of stakeholders Provide feasibility analysis, T-shirt sizing, effort estimations and develop design proposals for approved Data Management related requirements Collaborate with both Business and Technical teams to support the design and delivery of Data Management tools (Collibra, Purview, Informatica, Atlan, Anomalo, etc) Ensure data security protocols are in place to protect sensitive metadata information and comply with the client’s data protection policies and regulations Build and maintain end-to-end business and technical data lineage for easy traceability of data flow. Develop and enhance workflows to align with the clients Operating Model principles (AAOM) by connecting to the right people to the right data at the right time Develop and maintain Data Quality framework. Managing inventory of Data Quality Issues related to strategic data sourcing process, with appropriate dependencies and materiality assessment Skills Must Have: A degree in a technology (or related) field 6 years of experience using Data Management tools (Collibra, Purview, Informatica, Atlan, Anomalo, etc) Strong knowledge of Data Management principles and technology Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into effective data-driven strategies Experience in integrating data sources such as Databricks with Data Governance tools Hands-on experience with SQL for metadata querying and data lineage tracking Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) for data governance and security implementation. Experience in Eclipse/Python/Java/Groovy to develop and deploy customised workflows Experience in implementing a Data Quality framework. Knowledge of best practices in data analysis. Expertise in managing and ensuring the quality, availability, and usability of organisational data assets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail Strong background in working engineering teams with understanding of digital technologies systems Strong Excel skills for effective metadata analysis and reporting Nice to Have (Plus): Experience in developing user-specific dashboards.
