Provision of SATCOM Technical Support Services Full time | BREVCO | Italy Posted On: 11.06.2025 Job Information Industry: IT Services Position: Account Manager Postal Code: 95100 Job Description Experience and Education: Essential Qualifications / Experience: High school diploma or degree in electronics or a related network/communication field; 10 years of experience At least 5 years of experience as a satellite technician or similar role Good knowledge of electronic and RF measurement instruments; proficiency with hand and power tools Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Desirable Qualifications / Experience: Fluency in Italian language Duties / Role: Install, maintain, and repair satellite communication systems Complete installation and configuration of all satellite communication system components Manage baseband elements such as SATCOM modems, routers, switches, media converters, matrix switches, line amplifiers, and other active/passive elements Handle RF elements including UP/Down Converters, Amplifiers, LNAs, RF over Fiber converters, etc. Monitor and control systems like workstations, servers, gateways, DSPs, and network/interface elements Manage software on Windows, Linux, Network IOS, proprietary software, and configurations Update hardware and software configurations as needed Install power, data, and fiber optic cables; maintain and update documentation Assist local Power technician with installation and setup of power, heating, cooling, and ancillary systems Conduct regular maintenance inspections and preventive tasks for SATCOM, Power, HVAC, security, and other systems Diagnose and repair issues, replace faulty components, and update software as necessary J-18808-Ljbffr J-18808-Ljbffr
