Travel Nurse RN - PCU - $1,981 per week in Roanoke, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Strong cardiac skills required EPIC experience required Ability to work 1 holiday per assignment, 2 holidays for winter holidays Description: PCU RN position available. This role requires working in a Cardiac Observation Unit. Currently, the patient ratio in the PCU is 1:5, with a goal of 1:4. All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity. Orientation consists of 24 hours. COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered only. Candidates should submit all requests for time off up front. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date. Travelers who have worked here previously must have been away for a minimum of one year before returning as travelers. Candidates will be required to complete non-billable modules within the first 24 hours of training. This includes 5 hours for orientation modules and 2 hours for EPIC training. Completion of modules may occur pre-start or during orientation. Hours worked during orientation will be recorded and compensated upon receipt of approved hours.
