Pharmacist In Charge Long-Term Care (LTC) Start-Up Location: Austin, Texas Employer: Soliant Health Direct Hire | Multiple Shifts Available: 1st (7 AM 3 PM) | 2nd (3 PM 11 PM) Soliant Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a new Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy start-up in Austin, Texas. Position Overview As the Pharmacist In Charge, you will: Ensure adherence to all pharmacy procedures, SOPs, state, and federal regulations. Oversee the safe and accurate supply of medications to client facilities. Work under the general supervision of the COO to establish a pliant and effective LTC pharmacy. Act as a key point of contact for medication-related queries from physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and potential interactions. Ensure proper labeling and dispensing of medications. Provide remendations for therapy adjustments when needed. Maintain facility medication records, including medical history and lab data. Investigate and resolve medication-related inquiries. Supervise medication preparation and pliance with controlled substance regulations. Uphold security measures for all medications. Perform on-call duties as required. Qualifications Active Texas Pharmacist License Five or more years of Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience required Previous leadership experience in an LTC setting preferred Hospital or retail pharmacy background with five to ten years of total experience Strong analytical, munication, and organizational skills Proficiency with puter systems; experience with Framework or ECM software is a plus Why Join Us?
