Key Responsibilities: Manage an assigned recruitment territory and serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, families, and school counselors. Represent the University at high school visits, college fairs, community-based organization events, and other recruitment functions. Conduct outreach and counseling via phone, email, text, virtual platforms, and in-person meetings. Review and evaluate applications for admission and contribute to admissions committee discussions. Assist in the planning and implementation of on-campus and virtual events, including open houses, information sessions, and admitted student events. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and territory activity using Slate CRM and Jenzabar SIS. Collaborate with campus partners to support prospective student engagement and improve the admissions process. Provide exceptional customer service to all prospective students and families. Travel and Schedule Expectations: Extensive travel is required during the recruitment season, including multiday and overnight trips. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Frequent evening and weekend work is expected during peak recruitment and yield seasons (September–November and February–April). During peak times, work hours will exceed a traditional 40-hour week. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Prior experience in admissions, higher education, or related fields preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to groups. Familiarity with Slate and/or Jenzabar is a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills strongly preferred.
