Maths Teacher - Wakefield Are you an experienced Maths teacher with QTS who is seeking a full-time role for September 2025? This role is working in an exciting school in the East Wakefield area and might be just right for you! About the role We are working with the school to recruit a teacher who can commit to the position for the entirety of the academic year with the potential for this to be extended further, teaching both KS3 and KS4. This is a long-term position starting in September 2025. The school is focused on providing the highest quality of education, and all members of staff are expected to strive for excellence in everything they do. The students consistently attain high standards and their behaviour in lessons and around the school is good. Key responsibilities Prepare and deliver structured Maths lessons for all learning styles and abilities Create a positive learning environment within the classroom to encourage student learning and engagement Collaborate with colleagues to best support students and provide the highest quality teaching to the students Keep accurate records of students performance to monitor their progress and report back to both students and parents About you QTS with a Maths specialism Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school Proven background of high pupil progress A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with About us We are Engage Education, the most trusted education recruitment agency, with professional development and support at our core.
