Job Description
Job Description (JD) / Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) for a Social Media Manager handling both a restaurant chain and five-star hotels in Delhi. This version balances creative, strategic, and operational expectations tailored to the F&B and luxury hospitality industry. Job Title: Social Media Manager – Restaurant Chain & Five-Star Hotels (Delhi NCR) Location: South Delhi. Industry: Hospitality – F&B / Luxury Hotels and reputed Restaurant Chains Reporting to: COO (Chief Operating officer) Job Objective: To strategize, manage, and execute all social media activities that enhance brand visibility, engagement, customer loyalty, and revenue for the restaurant chain and five-star hotels including upcoming up scale property in Northern part of India. Key Responsibilities (KRA): 1. Strategy & Planning •Develop and implement content strategies for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube & emerging channels. •Tailor social media tone and strategy for each brand (casual dining, Café and. luxury hospitality). •Monthly content calendars aligned with business goals, seasonal promotions, and events. 2. Content Creation & Management •Ideate and oversee creation of high-quality visuals, reels, stories, and posts (in coordination with photographers, videographers, and designers). •Run regular photo/video shoots for food, interiors, chefs, events, and hotel amenities. •Maintain brand aesthetics and storytelling for each property. 3. Community Engagement •Engage with followers: comments, DMs, reviews (Google, Zomato, TripAdvisor). •Drive influencer collaborations (micro, macro, food, travel, and lifestyle creators). •Build and nurture online communities around each brand. 4. Performance Marketing & Analytics •Coordinate with digital ad teams to run paid campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Display, etc.). •Analyse engagement, growth, and conversion metrics weekly and monthly. •Use insights to optimize content and campaign strategies. 5. Crisis & Reputation Management •Monitor sentiment and address negative reviews, guest complaints, or crises tactfully and in coordination with PR/Operations. •Ensure brand reputation and service quality are reflected positively online. 6. Event Promotion & Real-Time Coverage •Promote in-house events, food festivals, seasonal menus, and guest chef nights. •Handle real-time social media coverage during events and celebrity visits. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration •Work closely with F&B teen, Banquet Sales & Marketing team members, and PR teams. •Sync with Restaurant Managers/ General Manager and executive chefs for updates, feedback, and approvals. Key Skills & Qualifications: • 3–6 years’ experience in social media management, ideally in hospitality – Food and Beverage Industry or lifestyle sectors. • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills. • Hands-on with tools Analytics, etc. • Knowledge of influencer marketing and ORM tools • Excellent command of English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus. • Willingness to travel between properties/Restaurants/Stores/Outlets and be available during weekends/events as and when required Success Metrics (KPIs): • Growth in followers, engagement rate, and reach. • Increase in table bookings, reservations, or direct room bookings via social media. • Positive sentiment and improved review scores. • ROI on influencer and paid media campaigns.
