Audio Visual Technician - Live Events

Now Hiring: AV Technician - Live Events Location: Newark-on-Trent Salary: Up to £32,000 About the Role As an AV Technician, you’ll be involved in the build, setup, and operation of AV equipment for installations and live events across a wide variety of venues. Key responsibilities include: Installing, setting up, and operating AV equipment — audio, lighting, video, rigging, and staging Working onsite at events across the UK Supporting pre-builds, prep, and kit maintenance Assisting with design and planning alongside the projects team Learning and operating industry-standard software and equipment Helping develop and manage the company’s AV inventory Supporting warehouse operations and logistics What They’re Looking For Solid understanding of AV tech — lighting, LED, video control, rigging, staging, etc. Comfortable with fault finding and basic repairs Good communication skills and a hands-on, can-do attitude A team player who also works well independently Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Full clean UK driving licence Bonus skills (not essential): Experience with MS Office and stock control systems Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, etc.) Location & Flexibility This role is based in Newark involves travel and occasional evening/weekend work . Candidates must live within a commutable distance and be flexible around event schedules.
