Raw Materials Planner

We are looking for an experienced, analytical and proactive Material Planner to join our fast-paced environment. Manage and execute Raw Material Planning tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material, Purchased Finished Goods, and Direct Packaging Material in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers. This position is based in Blackheath, Cape Town and reports to the Purchasing Manager. In conjunction with planning and close cooperation with internal stakeholders to ensurealignment between procurement and production timelines. Plan and expedite Materials Requirement Planning for designated Raw Materials, Purchased Finished Goods, or Direct Packaging Material categories. Create material requirement plans by analyzing production schedules and sales data to determine raw material needs to ensure timely ordering and delivery. Track material usage trends, and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock and address material-related issues Follow up and report to Purchasing Manager on agreed KPIs.
