Job Description
Role Overview: As a Tour/Travel Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our tour programs. You'll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of tour administration, from booking reservations and communicating with suppliers to maintaining accurate records and providing excellent client service. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate the smooth operation of assigned FIT and group tour programs. * Manage all general administrative duties related to tour operations. * Act as a primary point of contact for suppliers, agents, and clients, ensuring clear and timely communication. * Make and manage reservations for required travel services (flights, accommodations, activities, etc.). * Maintain accurate records of client information, bookings, supplier details, and payment transactions. * Monitor reservation status, payment terms, and deadlines, and communicate updates effectively. * Collaborate closely with a small team to ensure efficient and effective tour operations. Qualifications: * Matric (Grade 12) certificate. * Relevant travel qualifications (e.g., diploma, certificate). Skills and Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar tour/travel administration role. * Proven ability to maintain accurate records related to clients, bookings, suppliers, and payments. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment. * Strong customer service skills.
