Job Description
Key responsibilities Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods Design seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef Ensure all baked goods meet the lodges 5-star standards in taste and presentation Manage stock levels and order supplies efficiently Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques Cater to special dietary requirements and guest preferences Minimum requirements Formal pastry or culinary qualification Minimum 35 years experience in a pastry role, preferably in a luxury lodge or hotel Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques Passion for creative plating and high-end presentation Ability to work in a remote lodge environment Excellent time management and communication skills
