Lead Data Architect (Consulting) £115,000 – £130,000 Bonus Car Allowance Pension London – Hybrid – Permanent A global leader in IT Solutions and Consulting is seeking a Lead Data Architect to join their elite, fast-growing Data & Intelligence practice. You’ll drive the definition of enterprise data architecture strategies for major organisations across telecoms, banking, public sector, and retail. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring a mix of technical expertise and an extensive pre-sales/development skillset. Key Responsibilities of the Lead Data Architect: • Design enterprise data architecture models across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments • Define data governance, reference architecture, and modelling standards • Lead data architecture engagements across multi-sector clients • Align business, technology, and data architectures into a coherent strategy • Support pre-sales, proposition shaping, and internal capability growth • Guide and mentor architecture teams across onshore and offshore delivery Essential Skills and Experience: • Proven experience as a Lead or Enterprise Data Architect within large-scale environments • Deep knowledge of data modelling, architectural frameworks, and governance • Proficient in data architecture tools like Sparx, Erwin, or Archi • Experience delivering architectures for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) • Strong consulting skills with the ability to engage senior business and technical stakeholders • Experience across multiple industries such as telecoms, finance, manufacturing, or public sector • Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Package: • £120,000 – £130,000 base salary • Company bonus • Car allowance • Pension and full corporate benefits Ready to define the future of enterprise data architecture and lead transformational projects?
