TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014! Pay Information $2,089 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Travelers are required to float as needed within acuity All RTO must be sent up front with the submittal Description: The position is for a registered nurse in a telemetry Progressive Care Unit. This unit specializes in the care and management of patients with hospitalist medicine needs, including stroke and neurology patients. The unit is a certified primary stroke center. Currently, the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. All travelers are expected to work at least one holiday during the 13-week assignment. During winter holidays, travelers are required to work two holidays. Compliance documents are due the Wednesday prior to the Monday start. Candidates residing within a specified distance from the facility are considered local and are not accepted. Previous employees must be gone for a minimum of one year before returning to work as a traveler. The facility has a separation policy that restricts travelers from returning within a specified period. Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours of onboarding.
