Sanitation Technician

Staffmark is hiring a Sanitation Technician to join a food-safe, high-quality dry food processing facility. In this essential role, you'll play a key part in upholding cleanliness and safety standards across production, warehouse, and facility areas. Pay: $16.75 per hour Responsibilities: Clean production and warehouse areas using dry methods Empty waste bins throughout the facility Operate floor scrubber and maintain warehouse cleanliness Process recyclables using baler and manage janitorial supplies Follow sanitation schedule and GMP standards Use cleaning chemicals safely and report safety issues Occasionally operate powered equipment (e.g., forklift, scissor lift) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Basic English and recordkeeping skills Experience with industrial cleaning equipment (sweepers, scrubbers) Willing to train on powered equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Prior sanitation or warehouse cleaning experience preferred Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks on your feet Why You'll Love This Job: We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
