Who We Are We are a large and growing emergency and specialty hospital located in beautiful Portland, Maine . Our facility is home to board-certified experts in Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology . What You’ll Do As a Veterinary Technician in Cardiology , you’ll be an integral part of our cardiology team, which includes a newly hired full-time cardiologist set to join us in late summer. This role involves technical, diagnostic, and client-focused responsibilities that directly contribute to high-quality outcomes for patients with complex cardiac conditions. In this role, you will: Complete diagnostic testing including cardiac monitoring devices Support patient care Assist the cardiologist with ECGs and echocardiograms Position and capture digital radiographs Accurately calculate and administer medications Assist with case follow-up, patient updates, and client communication Participate in team rounds, treatment coordination, and patient flow management Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position Four 10-hour weekdays: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Some holidays are required Compensation Starting at $28/hr, final rate based on experience and licensure up to $2,5000 sign on bonus, commensurate with experience and licensure What’s in It for You?
