Financial Controller

Your new company The business offers personalised financial planning and investment solutions designed to help individuals, families, and businesses grow and protect their wealth. They provide strategic wealth management, asset optimisation, and responsible investing. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join the established finance function. Your new role The Financial Controller is needed to join a dynamic finance team within a well-established financial services organisation. This role is pivotal in ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial management. Oversee day-to-day finance operations, managing a small team. Maintain internal controls for financial, tax, and regulatory reporting. Provide financial analysis, reporting, and commentary to support business decisions. Lead statutory accounting and external audit processes. Manage regulatory reporting and liquidity/capital requirement calculations. Drive automation strategies to enhance financial operations. Act as a business partner across teams and deputise for the Head of Finance. What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years post-qualified experience and some management experience Strong financial control experience ideally within wealth management Ability to lead, analyse complex data, and collaborate across teams. Expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, tax compliance, and regulatory frameworks. What you'll get in return You will be working within a growing business and team.
