Your new role As a Science Teacher, you'll play a key role in sparking curiosity and fostering a love of learning in your students. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging, hands-on science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience). Inspiring students through practical experiments, real-world applications, and interactive teaching methods. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support. Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking in science. Collaborating with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and share best practices. Contributing to extracurricular science clubs, STEM events, and enrichment activities. What you'll need to succeed You're passionate about science and education, and you want to make a lasting impact. You'll be a great fit if you have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching science in a secondary school setting (including during teacher training). Strong subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, or physics. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A commitment to student success and a creative approach to teaching.
