This is a hands-on role where you’ll be managing client relationships, reviewing technical work, and supporting junior team development, while also working closely with the firm’s leadership on planning and workflow management. Role Responsibilities Managing a mixed portfolio of audit and accounts clients across various sectors Leading audit assignments from planning through to finalisation Reviewing statutory accounts prepared under UK GAAP/FRS 102 Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients as a key point of contact Supervising and mentoring a team of trainees and seniors, conducting reviews and providing feedback Ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and in line with professional standards Liaising with partners on complex queries, client service strategies, and technical issues Monitoring WIP, billing, and resource planning for your portfolio About the Firm This Chester-based accountancy practice is part of a respected regional network known for its client-focused approach and collaborative culture.
