Transport Administrator

Salary: £12.30 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Temp on going Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break) About the Role; We have an exciting opportunity for a confident and detail-focused Administrator to join our transport office team. This role is essential in supporting daily operations and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in being part of a collaborative team, wed love to hear from you Key Duties and Responsibilities; Support day-to-day administrative activities in a busy transport office Update and maintain driver paperwork and planning systems Communicate effectively with drivers and customers Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) on D365 Manage and resolve invoice queries, liaising with depots and suppliers Match disposal invoices and amend disposal rates on internal systems Arrange recycling collections with various hauliers Generate and issue miscellaneous customer invoices Book accommodation, flights, and trains via an online travel management system Order stationery and PPE supplies as required Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role Skills and Experience Required; Keen and eager to learn new systems and processes Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident using MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment What We Offer: A supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the role A stable, Monday to Friday working pattern Company benefits such as pension, holiday entitlement, training, etc Please click Apply Now to submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
