Teaching Spaces Coordinator - 6 Month Temp Role June 2025 - December 2025 £18.22 - £21.68 per hour A leading educational institution are searching for a Teaching Spaces Coordinator wit a background in facilities management administration Main Duties and Responsibilities: To assist with the co-ordination of the teaching spaces audit. The delivery of a systematic mechanism for assuring provision of quality managed data ensuring consistency of data between Timetable Services, Room Bookings and Teaching Operations teams. Collaborate with estates colleagues to ensure smooth roll out of the teaching spaces furniture asset tagging process. Represent the team where required on teaching space refurbishment projects. Provide support for teaching space refurbishment projects, for example booking of rooms and emailing stakeholders. Oversee teaching space refurbishment projects on site, ensuring quality of work has been provided. Represent the team for supplier queries, maintaining high quality supplier relationship management. Support the authorisation to work process on behalf of the team, to ensure all contractors/suppliers are compliant before being allowed onto site, including reviewing risk assessments and flagging issues. Liaison with the Estates Logistics team to ensure contractor’s/supplier’s details are stored and approved in time for site visits. Support the procurement of furniture for teaching spaces. Manage the disability support process with regards to individual furniture requirements, coordinating the delivery of pieces of furniture to individual rooms via the porterage service. Person Specification The post requires operational experience of Facilities Management.Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with a customer focused approach.Strong IT literacy skills (MS Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel etc.).
