Duty Manager An exciting opportunity has arrived to join our stunning and luxury hotel. We are currently recruiting for experienced Duty Manager to join the team. About The Courthouse Hotel The Courthouse hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel ideally situated in an old Grade II Listed Magistrates Court, retaining much of its original historical features but with a modern twist. Our hotel is located where stylish Mayfair, fashionable Soho and the West End meet and is within walking distance of Londons famous shopping street New Bond Street which is revered throughout the world for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands, art and antiques. Here at Courthouse Hotel London - Soho we are looking for a motivated professional Reception Shift Leader to join our busy Front of House Team. Our hotel consists of 116 bedrooms, 5 meeting rooms, 3 restaurants, a high-end chic roof terrace, 100-seater private cinema and The Bar in our lobby, an exciting and amazing place to work! Nearest Tube Station: Oxford Circus Key accountabilities and tasks related to the Duty Manager role include: Be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a consistently outstanding quality service throughout the Front Desk according to the Hotels Standards Supervise Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition to maximize Guest satisfaction. Will be aware of booking levels for current and future dates knowing the exact position for the day and liaise with Assistant Front Office Manager, ensuring maximum revenue is reached & will be fully conversant with all rates, packages, and special promotions. Focus on empowering line employees to use their own initiative to make decisions, which ensure consistently good guest experiences. Deals with general procedure duties, check in/out, Accounting Audits Will ensure that Hotels Credit Policy is adhered to by all Front Desk Staff and that credit extended is authorized in writing and controlled. Monitors Front desk personnel, to ensure Corporate Reward members, known repeat guests and other VIPs receive special attention & Liaises with relevant departments to ensure all VIP guests are met and roomed on arrival. Essential skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service oriented with an outgoing, upbeat and positive personality. Leadership qualities and professional well-groomed appearance. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment. And what do you get in return!
