Job Description

Role Overview: The Systems Architecture team within KROHNE’s Flow Division plays a critical role in designing comprehensive solutions for our flowmeter systems. We are seeking a Systems Architect who will lead the design and development of system architectures that integrate hardware, software, physics, and mechanics. Reporting functionally to the project manager, you will drive the technical direction of the projects. Responsibilities: Define and design system architectures that integrate hardware, software, physics, and mechanics to meet customer requirements; Lead architectural discussions, balancing technical, performance, and business objectives; Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, hardware engineers, project managers) to ensure alignment between system architecture and overall system design; Conduct system-level design and integration activities, including architecture definition and interface management; Lead system verification and validation efforts to ensure compliance with performance and reliability requirements; Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field; Proven experience in system architecture, particularly in the development of complex systems; Strong understanding of system architecture principles and methodologies; Experience with requirements management tools and system modeling languages; Familiarity with hardware and software development processes and tools; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
