Job Description
Involves the completion of operational tasks, including manual activities, and related administration or paperwork. May focus on a specific area of operations. Lead or senior levels of these positions may: Handle escalated or more complex issues Coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff Support supervisor or manager activities Assist in designing, reviewing, and implementing processes and procedures Under limited guidance, the employee is responsible for: Completing specific operational activities at station or hub locations, such as sorting, driving, and location-based tracking/reporting Performing operational duties including loading, unloading, and driving, in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements Moving cargo and pallets with a forklift inside a warehouse Organizing cargo according to its characteristics for transportation and storage Verticalizing unused cargo racks Performing special loading/unloading (heavy loads with forklifts) Conducting first-level maintenance (cleaning, conservation) of forklifts Adhering to safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental standards Performing other duties as assigned Education: Elementary School degree or equivalent Forklift Operator Course Diploma or renewal within the validity period (2 years) Brazil: Driver's license type B; Functional certification card from System S institutions (SENAT/SENAI and SESI/SENAI) preferred Experience: At least 2 years as a forklift operator Excellent driving record with no preventable accidents in the past 12 months Skills: Good interpersonal skills Accuracy and attention to detail Planning and organizing skills Problem-solving skills Teamwork skills Note: The forklift operator must have experience with both combustion (gas-powered, 3TNL) and retractable forklifts used in operations.
