We are looking for a Global Primary Transportation Expert (Fixed Term) to join our team. The Global Primary Transportation Expert supports the Global Supply Chain and other Dompé departments in managing primary transport on national and international territory. He/She ensures continuous process improvement and explores new possibilities for simplification and optimization. He/She also focuses on load optimization from economic and environmental perspectives. Responsibilities include: Supporting the definition, update, and implementation of optimal routes to minimize costs and delivery times; Organizing load assignments to vehicles based on capacity and product characteristics, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules; Coordinating with logistics service providers (couriers, secondary distribution hubs); Managing courier contractual monitoring and renewal, focusing on SLA and KPI; Monitoring shipments and delivery compliance at Dompé distribution hubs, handling transportation issues, and communicating with customers and suppliers about shipment status; Maintaining traceability of transports, analyzing transport costs, identifying improvement areas, and preparing reports for management; Managing customer and supplier requests and resolving issues; Evaluating new technologies to enhance transport efficiency, such as telematics systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Management Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or related disciplines; Required Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP (SAP S/4HANA - Production Planning and Material Management modules); Proficiency in business data analysis; Knowledge of key Supply Chain processes (e.g., Demand Management, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Order Management, Delivery Management, Inventory Management, Customer Care Management, management of finished product suppliers); Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, especially GDP; Fluent in Italian and English; Preferred Skills: Pharmaceutical experience (at least 3-5 years) is preferred.
