We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive with a passion for tackling food waste to join our Italian team. The role involves a hybrid work arrangement—50% remote and 50% from the office—with some travel. Your mission You will play a key role in expanding Too Good To Go in Italy and fighting food waste. Reporting to the Key Accounts Team Lead, you will develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new small or simple Key Account partners via HQ stakeholders, while supporting larger opportunities. You will assist these accounts through onboarding and rollout processes. Your responsibilities Proactively assess the market to identify new business opportunities, build rapport with stakeholders, and generate interest in Too Good To Go. Acquire new partners by calling or visiting prospects, introducing and selling Too Good To Go, and guiding them through the sign-up process. Support new partners post-sale by helping them use our app and tools, ensuring they are fully informed and engaged. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Contribute to the Italian Key Account strategy and support other departments on various opportunities. Requirements Proven sales experience, with the ability to connect, build rapport, and win business with senior stakeholders. Solid commercial skills and experience in the supermarket/grocery sector, food supply chain, or Horeca, with knowledge of Italian retail/grocery markets. Ability to lead negotiations and deliver impactful pitches. Resilience to work towards ambitious targets and KPIs. Genuine passion for our mission. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Beneficial: Data analysis and Google Workspace skills for performance reporting and trend analysis.
