Chief Operating Officer

Position: Chief Operating Officer – Supply Chain Location: Gurgaon, India Industry: E-commerce / Quick Commerce / Perishable Goods Experience: 15–18 years Compensation: Up to ₹1.5 Cr CTC Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced COO – Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end operations, with a focus on last-mile delivery and supply chain optimization for perishable goods. The ideal candidate must come with strong experience in e-commerce or quick commerce domains and have managed high-velocity supply chains, particularly for perishables such as groceries, dairy, fresh produce, or FMCG. Key Responsibilities: Lead Supply Chain Strategy: Drive the strategic planning and execution of the full supply chain lifecycle, with particular focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Last-Mile Logistics Excellence: Spearhead the design and execution of highly efficient last-mile delivery systems tailored for perishable goods. Inventory and Warehouse Optimization: Oversee warehouse operations and ensure real-time inventory management across multiple hubs. Cold Chain Management: Establish and refine cold-chain logistics, ensuring quality and freshness of goods from source to customer. Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with procurement, tech, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of operations with business objectives. Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor high-performing supply chain and operations teams. Data-Driven Operations: Leverage data analytics and technology to drive predictive decision-making, reduce delivery times, and increase fill rates. Vendor & Partner Management: Cultivate strong relationships with logistics partners, warehousing providers, and last-mile delivery aggregators. Key Requirements: 15 to 18 years of experience in operations/supply chain, preferably in e-commerce , quick commerce , or perishable goods domains. Proven track record in last-mile delivery management , especially for perishable goods. Strong experience in cold chain logistics and real-time inventory management . Prior leadership role in companies like Blinkit, Zepto, BigBasket, Dunzo, Swiggy Instamart, or similar. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Background: Engineering or Operations degree; MBA is a plus.
