Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our Residential Group Home team at our Wilmington, Delaware location. Some duties would include the following: To provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting. To ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development. To facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration. To participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans. Hiring for work schedules Full time 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 3P-11P Part time 16 hours Sat-Sun 7A-3P; Sat-Sun 3P-11P Hire requirements include new hire orientation first five (5) day workweek Mon-Fri at our Philadelphia location, no parking concerns, mileage reimbursement and dayshift schedule. Job Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required with current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA in the state of Delaware. Ability to respond to disruptive behavior. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living. Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record. Scope: A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in a residential group home. Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants. Ability to climb and descend stairs. Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Requires crisis intervention techniques in crisis situations.
