Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/01/2025 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, nights, flexible Employment Type: Local Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist | Costa Mesa, CA Pay Range: $75–$85 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | Outpatient Clinic Setting We are currently hiring a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our outpatient mental wellness clinic in Costa Mesa, CA . This position plays a critical role in conducting brain SPECT scans and managing all technical and regulatory aspects of nuclear medicine imaging. If you're detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, and passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive team environment — we want to meet you! ✅ Key Responsibilities: Perform brain SPECT scans and complete related QA/QC procedures Prepare IVs and administer radiopharmaceutical doses Process and print imaging results before end of each workday Maintain Odyssey imaging system and accurate scan logs Conduct daily constancy tests, weekly wipe tests, and radiation surveys Handle hot lab operations and radiopharmaceutical inventory Perform regulatory calibrator tests (leak, linearity, geometry, accuracy) Track and manage medical/nuclear medicine supply levels Requirements: Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in California Proven ability to manage large patient volumes efficiently Strong time management and organizational skills Experience working with children and adults in a clinical setting Empathy, emotional stability, and excellent communication skills Familiarity with brain imaging is preferred Experience with Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
