This short-term opportunity allows you to provide social-emotional support, address behavioral challenges, and work with educators, administrators, and families to implement intervention strategies that foster student success. Position Details: Position: School Social Worker Location: Bolingbrook, IL Age Group: Elementary School Duration: August 11 to October 31, 2025 (Leave of Absence) Schedule: Monday to Friday, School Hours Responsibilities: Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success. Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations. Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs. Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement. Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.
