Job Description

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges. The Operations Supervisor plans, directs and/or coordinates the operations of the facility with focus on ensuring exemplary client service, safety and quality standards. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies and managing daily operations, and inventory integrity. Leads and directs subordinates in client service, data entry, dispatch, and warehouse operations. Essential Role Functions Execution of the applicable KPI’s per company standard to include “The Morning Routine” and operational aspects of “The Director’s Playbook”. Please refer to the Crane Worldwide Logistics Operational KPI Standards addendum. Coordinates daily and weekly activities, planning workloads and staffing accordingly. Accountable for production, supervision and discipline of employees, and conflict resolution. Monitor and evaluate employees based on goals and standards. Enforce policy and procedure compliance. Coordinate with other departments within the company. Respond to & solve production problems. Train employees on job specific duties and develops employees through coaching. Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements. Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components. Sitting for extended periods of time. Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED Required. 4 years industry experience required. 2 years supervisory experience required.
