Job Duties Responsible for the movement of domestic and international goods in compliance with local and international law. The role requires knowledge of all possible movement constraints, experience in one or two transport modes (Ocean, Air or Land), and knowledge of hazardous movements. Coordinates pre-shipping instructions and collaborates with service providers on movements. Manages shipment orders from origin to destination to ensure timely delivery through efficient methods, while keeping customers informed of progress. Maintains all shipping files per requirements. Gathers data on service provider performance and analyzes short-term business needs to plan shipment movements. Uses logistics systems such as SAP to perform duties and ensure accurate and timely transactions. Records data measurements to identify trends and improve logistics services for economic benefits. Handles packing, marking, labeling, and measuring cargo for accurate weight and dimensions. Assists finance and accounting with validation of rates and charges on invoices. Requires a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or Engineering, with 3 to 5 years of logistics experience. Qualifications Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
