Lead Data Engineer (12 month contract)

Responsibilities: Lead a team of SQL Warehouse Developers in the design, development and maintenance of data solutions, including scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure Manage the technical development of team members through training, planning training interventions to up-skill team members, facilitating on the job training and monitoring their adherence to personal development plans Implement data architecture designs, data models, schemas, and storage solutions that optimize performance, scalability, and reliability Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for performance, reliability, and scalability Automate deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to streamline development and operational workflows Education: 5 - 8 years' experience in data engineering Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar Experience with T-SQL, ETL, SQL, datalakes and data warehousing, Python, Agile and AWS Apply now!
