Job Summary : The Tour Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining operational accuracy and vendor management for all tour components within an assigned territory. Handles all aspects of key line items within the operations systems from end to end. This position owns vendor, departure-specific updates, and confirmations for the territory, supporting secure space and chase bids. Regularly meets with Product Managers, Designers, and Buyers to provide status updates and make relevant changes within the systems. The role aligns with the company’s Excellence and Revenue goals. Primary Functions : Builds strong relationships with vendors through clear communication to confirm and update tour components, vendor status, and records confirmations within the systems. Attends regional meetings to support operational consistency and identify key operational needs. Collaborates across departments to ensure tour components are accurate and consistent, ensuring overall tour integrity for traveler satisfaction. Communicates with tour managers, buyers, product managers, and designers regarding vendor issues. Supports Product Managers in troubleshooting vendor problems. Maintains various tour documents and supports the regional team in finding backup options. Monitors inquiries and issues related to confirmations, questions, invoices, and complaints. Handles non-required line items, including assigning services, creating suppliers, and managing contracts. Assists with building and auditing tour components and securing tickets for operational elements. Supports FAMs and add dates processes as needed. Updates tour changes and vendor messaging with high accuracy. Knowledge and Skills : Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Experience in scheduling, logistics, supply chain, inventory, or ERP systems is a plus. Requires initiative, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates ownership and a proactive approach. Collaborates well and fosters a cooperative environment. Must be flexible with industry changes and aware of current global events. Excellent communication skills are essential.
