SENIOR CATEGORY MANAGER

Alias - executive, a dynamic player in the food sector (with a turnover of 420 million euros), is seeking a: The candidate will be responsible for the complete management of one or more product categories. Specifically, the role involves: Defining procurement strategies and seasonal purchase plans; Analyzing and planning the season, coordinating with account managers, channel managers, and area managers; Managing relationships with suppliers and/or producers, defining weekly loads, commercial, and agronomic conditions; Providing feedback to suppliers on product quality, informing them about sales trends (prices and volumes), and directly managing any complaints; Monitoring the quality, costs, and availability of products, ensuring compliance with company standards; Weekly setting of price lists for both the GDO channel and traditional channel; Supporting internal administrative practices and responsible parties for product maturation, reprocessing, and packaging. Qualifications include: Bachelor's or master's degree in agronomy, economics, management engineering, or related fields; 7-8 years of experience in purchasing and/or planning, preferably within structured organizations; Excellent analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills; Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite; Fluent knowledge of English (Spanish is a plus); Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
