Job Description
The Rollout Manager is accountable for planning and managing the deployment activities of a customer project, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Planning and preparing rollout and swap activities; supporting project start-up. Setting up rollout procedures and defining detailed site implementation processes. Creating and executing rollout plans, including securing customer acceptance. Aligning with stakeholders on rollout plans. Managing internal and external deployment teams. Coordinating subcontractors' daily operations. Managing demand for hardware and materials in line with the rollout plan. Overseeing ordering processes. Ensuring delivery within cost, time, and quality parameters. Achieving targeted rollouts and maintaining customer commitments. Acting as the main communication interface with regional/technical customer teams. Monitoring project progress and providing operational visibility. Managing risks and coordinating issue resolution. Initiating change and claim processes as per procedures. Managing and evaluating service supplier work. Supporting project managers with material receipt processes. Ensuring compliance with Quality and Health & Safety standards. Adhering to deployment processes and using Nokia tools like NDP-c/d. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Degree in Telecom, Engineering, or equivalent. At least 5 years' experience managing telecom projects. Minimum 3 years' experience managing RAN rollout/swap projects with Nokia. Deep understanding of mobile network architecture and infrastructure. Knowledge of RAN deployment operations, processes, and procedures. Familiarity with Nokia's equipment portfolio and technical specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Problem-solving and negotiation abilities. Proactive, self-driven, and able to work under pressure. Mandatory: Fluency in Italian. Preferred additional skills include quality management and health & safety experience. This role requires frequent business travel.
