Reporting to the Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Luxembourg and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our department and its growth. Key responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact on a day-to-day basis for operational matters and critical issues before work is disseminated to team members and clients. Manage a team of accountants/senior accountants, providing guidance and support. Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, management accounts, and accounting packages. Support statutory filings such as tax returns, VAT returns, BCL reporting, CSSF reporting, FATCA/CRS reporting, liaising with tax/VAT advisors to ensure timely submissions. Draft disclosure notes under IFRS/LuxGAAP accounting standards. Prepare and review Capital Account Statements and Net Asset Values. Understand fund documents like subscription agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements, and explain key terms to team members. Review capital call and distribution notices. Prepare and review waterfall and equalization calculations. Handle investor requests and ad hoc client requests. Key requirements: Strong prioritization and organizational skills. Analytical, meticulous, and systematic approach to work. Solid knowledge of IFRS and LuxGAAP. 6-8 years of experience in audit or accounting, with at least 4 years in the Private Equity Fund industry. Previous experience with a Fund Administrator or Fund Manager is preferred, especially in management or supervisory roles. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related studies such as ACCA.
