About Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026: The Organizing Committee for the 2026 Winter Games, responsible for organizing, promoting, and communicating the sporting and cultural events of the Winter Olympics. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history, involving 13 venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities across 22,000 sq km. The organizing committee was established in 2019, in accordance with the Host City Contract signed with the IOC, Milano, Cortina, and CONI, with support from the Italian Government and regional partners. Position: The candidate will be part of the Corporate Safety and Health team, reporting to the HSE Director, and will be responsible for: Identifying risk factors and conducting risk assessments according to Italian regulations; Managing training programs and health surveillance; Ensuring H&S requirements are included in contractor contracts; Developing and promoting preventive and protective measures in occupational and environmental safety; Conducting internal and on-site audits; Following up on audit actions and near-miss analyses; Participating in venue project teams as the safety contact; Managing safety-related suppliers; Collaborating with authorities on worker safety issues; Preparing safety documentation with other corporate functions; Organizing safety and environmental training events; Ensuring supplier compliance with HSE policies; Managing works councils and interference issues; Verifying contractor documentation per Art. 26, comma 8 Dlgs 81/2008. Requirements: 6-10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in major events or consulting firms; Experience in construction and auditing is a plus; Knowledge of environmental law, occupational safety, and standards ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001; Degree holder; Excellent computer skills, especially in Office, with advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint; certifications are advantageous.
