Florence, Italy Are you organized, meticulous, and experienced in planning and expediting supply chains? Can you collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to build the best solutions for our business? Join our forward-thinking and dynamic team Your purpose will be to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, to and from suppliers and within departments, according to production schedules. You will plan and schedule material, supply chain, and production needs, and suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures. Partner with the best As a Materials Planning and Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for: Coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between departments according to production schedules Monitoring the progress of work through collaboration with production, purchasing, and planning departments to ensure timely execution Collaborating with Medium Term Planners and internal manufacturing lines to identify criticalities and recovery plans such as material shortages, non-conformities, scrap, re-work, etc. Leading short-term planning activities related to internal production lines Coordinating farm-out activities with external suppliers and overseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, shortages, maintenance issues, manpower, and capacity challenges Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics and production data Interacting with sourcing and other departments for criticality management and strategic initiatives on cost reduction and process simplification Expediting purchase orders, delivery of materials and finished goods, including transfers and conditional releases Performing data analysis to support supply decisions aligning with production schedules Planning current schedules and inventory control for assigned products Maintaining accurate traceability records during manufacturing, ensuring compliance with company policies including quality, EHS, HR, admin, and lean practices Fuel your passion To succeed, you should have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or experience in production control, planning, or supervision Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global-matrix environments Independence in driving process improvements Proactivity and accuracy in data handling Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems Fluency in Italian, both oral and written Work in a way that works for you We offer flexible working patterns to accommodate diverse needs.
