Duties Serves as a second level supervisor of an organizational unit in the DLA Distribution Sigonella, Italy Distribution Operations Division. Prepares standard operating procedures for Analysts, Supply Technicians, and Warehouse Workers regarding supply procedures, inventory control management practices, and shipping/transportation functions. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting inspections to ensure performance is at acceptable levels and to meet the established performance criteria. Assess service quality relative to Receiving, Inventory, Issue, Transportation, and Shipping Operations, Local Delivery, Packing, Packaging, Preservation, and Marketing (PP and M), Stock Readiness Program, and functions relevant to depot missions. Conducts a variety of special and comprehensive management analyses to determine the most effective and efficient use of resources. Distributes and balances the workload among employees according to established workflow or job specialization. Recommends changes and improvements in systems interface and operating techniques. Qualifications To qualify, your resume must demonstrate: One year of specialized experience related to distribution operations, such as analyzing distribution requirements, directing organizational unit operations, or performing analytical assignments involving distribution issues.
