Section Leader (Food Production)

An established food production and distribution business in East Kent is growing its leadership team and seeking a hands-on Section Leader to support its high-volume distribution operation. As Section Leader, you'll be leading a team of Multi-Skilled Operatives (MSOs) in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent service levels, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to health & safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and support your team to meet productivity targets Motivate team members in a performance-driven environment Work with planning and production teams to meet delivery schedules Maintain high standards in Health & Safety and food handling Act as deputy for the Distribution Shift Manager when required What We're Looking For: 2 years in a warehouse, FMCG, or fresh produce supervisory role Excellent communication and leadership skills Familiarity with food safety and distribution processes Proactive approach to continuous improvement Forklift/PPT experience (RTITB certified) – a plus What’s on Offer: Full training and development support Long-term career growth in a stable, expanding industry On-site facilities and free parking A collaborative, team-focused working environment If you’re an experienced and motivated leader looking for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
