Venn Group Lead Mechanical Engineer DV Clearance Required Permanent OR 4 Month Initial Contract (Initially a part time contract 3-4 days per week with the opportunity to be full time after the initial 4 months) On-site in the South East (secure site) Rate DOE Our client, a key player in high-security infrastructure projects, is seeking a DV Cleared Lead Mechanical Engineer to join them on an initial 4 month contract with the potential for a permanent or rolling contract position. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of up to 10 Mechanical Engineers across a secure, complex building services environment Oversee stakeholder engagement including contractors, clients, building operations, and subject matter experts Deliver detailed mechanical design in line with RIBA stages Provide expert input on ventilation, cooling and control systems Drive the project forward, creating solutions in challenging environments and adapting to evolving requirements Maintain a hands-on approach to support delivery when required Skills/Experience Required: 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering and building services Strong understanding of ventilation, cooling and building control systems Experience working in protected or defence facilities Mechanical design experience aligned with RIBA stages Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Must hold active DV Clearance If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Chloe Bailey – cbailey@venngroup.com/07441916214
