Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Position Summary: The Indirect Procurement Specialist LATAM will be responsible for managing a portfolio of indirect spend categories across the region. Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Coordinator, this role is critical to ensuring compliant, cost-effective, and timely procurement aligned with Lubrizol’s strategic objectives. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong engagement with key suppliers, and delivery of value through negotiation, supplier relationship management, and process optimization. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week on-site at our São Paulo office. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories such as facilities, utilities, professional services, packaging, MRO, and CAPEX. • Manage supplier relationships and act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring service excellence and alignment with business needs. • Partner with functions such as Finance, Operations, HR, and Legal to support procurement initiatives and ensure compliance with internal policies. • Lead negotiations and contract management activities through CLM, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations. • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and risk mitigation. • Contribute to procurement KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. Desired Background and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably within multinational or matrixed organizations. • Knowledge of local tax regulations and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environments is a plus. • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. • Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is desirable. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. • Demonstrated ownership, proactivity, and customer focus.
