Junior Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Staff management (forklift drivers, general workers) Assets management (Equipment management including repair & maintenance) Stock management (final check of all dispatched stock) and stock rotation Human Resources Management (Own and TES staffing, time and attendance and disciplinary) Depots, factory shop, collecting customers and company representatives collections picking and loading Deadline driven Weekend work as and when required Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards in warehousing processes Train and mentor distribution team members to enhance their skills and performance Daily stock counts, risk counts and monthly stock counts Housekeeping Health and Safety compliance Manage principal stock counts, security, preparation and checking of stock received and for delivery Qualifications: Minimum of matric Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the multi-temperature food distribution Proven track record managing a team Clear criminal record Skills and attributes: Strong administration, analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication abilities Ability to lead and motivate a team Able to work in a chilled environment with temperatures of 4◦C Forklift license will be advantageous Knowledgeable in MS Office (Word, Excel) Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
