We are looking for an IT Technical Project Manager , responsible for overseeing the software lifecycle of the Engine, Energy systems in the maritime area within our Carnival Global Maritime Information Systems (GMIS). How you'll live your ambition: From our offices in Genoa , as the IT Technical Project Manager - Engine, Energy & Efficiency Systems , you will oversee the software lifecycle for critical Engine, Energy, and Environmental systems across the Costa fleet. You will promote sustainability in technology solutions and adhere to HESS safety principles. Get things right: You will manage projects with precision by coordinating technical teams, business analysts, and external vendors to meet strategic priorities. Data collection and management will be your focus, ensuring seamless and reliable processes that empower Maritime Systems and the Data Warehouse. Risk management, timelines, and budgets will be your daily compass, keeping projects on course and on target. Communication and collaboration will be at the heart of your work, promoting best practices across Carnival Corporation. What makes you unique: Your solid academic foundation in STEM or IT (Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred) and 5 years of experience prepare you for this role. Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 highlight your project management expertise. Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud concepts sets you apart in the tech field. You are skilled at managing priorities in fast-paced environments and inspiring collaboration across teams. As a fluent English and Italian speaker, you will thrive in our global setting, connecting with stakeholders across the organization.
