Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. Position Within the Games Delivery team, the EVM Coordinator supports the Event General Manager in the planning, coordination and operational delivery of competition venues and/or Ceremonies sites for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The role ensures the smooth integration and oversight of all services required to operate the venues efficiently and in line with Games-time standards. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the definition of Venue operating models, site utilization timelines, and security planning in coordination with local and national authorities. Assist in transitioning venue planning from the strategic to operational phase, in close collaboration with other internal functions and stakeholders. Support in the design, planning, and delivery of training activities, including preparation and supervision of training materials. Collaborate in the management of the Venue Management Team, supporting leadership and coordination across all planning phases. Provide operational support during Test Events, contributing to the testing and validation of venue operations. During Games-time, actively support Event Operations at a competitive or Ceremonies venue, across key service areas such as: Food & Beverage Event Services Accreditation Cleaning & Waste Transport Logistics Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders. Team management readiness and ability to coordinate large operational teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities. Positive and proactive attitude, with a collaborative mindset. Fluent spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related digital tools. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, especially during the Games period. Willingness to be based on-site during operational phases.
