SENIOR BUYER

For an important company, leader in the sector of electric motors for the household appliances sector, we are looking for a : SENIOR BUYER The Senior Buyer is part of the Purchasing Department within the Global Supply Chain and reports to the head of Procurement & Supply Chain. He/she will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's procurement strategy and growing within the function to assume the role of Purchasing Manager. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage indirect procurement, including the purchasing of goods, services, supplies, and materials needed for daily operations. Work with a high level of autonomy in controlling and managing supplier relationships, liaising closely with Technical Department, Production, Finance, and Sales to achieve targeted performance. Perform procurement activities for assigned product categories by developing effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness, timeliness, and high quality. Manage risks, source new suppliers, including validation, contractual negotiations, and supply transition management. Support project buying activities for new products. Ensure proper execution of Procurement Processes in the areas of Strategic Management and Source to Contract. Be responsible for daily monitoring of performance and results. PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS Technical or business university degree in Engineering or Management. Broad and proven procurement experience in manufacturing companies, preferably multinational, with at least 5 years of experience. Demonstrates expertise in cost-effective sourcing in a technical environment. Extensive experience with supplier contracts, agreements, and project management within multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex quantitative and statistical analyses, complemented by qualitative insights from multiple sources. Logical thinker with attention to detail and high commitment. Proficiency with ERP systems, including DRP/MRP, purchasing, and inventory modules, is a plus. Experience with Lean tools and collaboration across functions within the end-to-end supply chain.
