Field Service Technician

Position available in Alrode for a Field Service Technician. QUALIFICATIONS Mechanical Engineering Diploma / Degree or equivalent Training qualification/certification (e.g., Train the Trainer) or equivalent experience (preferred) Valid Drivers license SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5 years of field service experience in valves, instrumentation, or similar equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with valves, control valves, and actuators Experience with site commissioning and start-up activities for valves Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostics of valve-related issues Ability to interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and P&IDs Experience with warranty claim evaluation and documentation Capable of performing calibration, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on valves Skilled in producing clear and detailed service and inspection reports Comfortable delivering on-site technical training to customers on valves Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites, including internationally if required Understanding of quality management systems and root cause analysis Inventory management skills to ensure availability of critical parts and tools for field service Software Proficiency Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) Understanding of the OSH Act and how to conduct oneself on site safely Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs (preferred) Kindly apply if you meet the minimum requirements.
